Entry #8: my concert experience

Hello everyone today I will talk about my concert experience.

On November 5th, I went to see Men I Trust! I loved the show a lot. I thought I was going to be there late but surprisingly I made it on time, the process was quick. It was like I had just arrived and was seated in less than 10 minutes. I thought it would be a hassle because it was downtown and a lot of people went. I had a lot of fun. The instruments and voice were so amazing. They ended the show with an encore and came back on stage and played my favorite song, Billy Toppy.

Before attending the concert, I did not know I was going to go for sure. I commented to my cousin that we should go but not expecting the plan to actually go through. I suggested we go months before and to my surprise she texted me one day asking if I still wanted to go because she had already bought the tickets as a surprise to me. I of course said yes and I feel like I needed it because I was feeling overwhelmed and really unmotivated.

It’s safe to say that the concert really uplifted me because I would definitely sleep late on a school night for this experience again. I still can’t believe I was listening to them on a random day on Spotify listening to the Oncle Jazz album and then in the same building as them right in front of me live.

The concert was a fun experience and a way for me to distract myself from things that lingered in my mind. I hope you all can get this experience and feeling of letting your problems go for a little while to enjoy yourselves. Thank you, see you next time.

  1. Hi Ariana, Personally I don't know "Men I Trust" but I loved the way you described and expressed your experience at their concert. I wish I could relate but I can't and your blog is motivating me to save money and experience a once in a live time thing by seeing one of my favorite artist live.

Hello everyone. Yes you read that right. I had rehearsal that took 8 hours.  For context, I play the cello in my high school orchestra and ...
