entry 6; makeup expenses

 Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about the expenses of makeup and why I think some products are expensive. 

Some makeup may be expensive because it is very good and recommended by a lot of people. There is a lot of makeup that has been priced really high due to the quality. I think an expensive makeup once in a while is not too bad. Many makeup artists use these high end expensive makeup for special occasions. The performance of high end products seem to be thought of highly because of their price.

Although expensive makeup can be great, it is not all the time that it will turn out the way we expect it. It may not always be a good performance depending on multiple factors like: Did you prime well? What is your skin type? What did you do before this? Etc. And we are left disappointed with the amount of money that is lost and now with the performance. 

However, there are products that are not popular that will still do the same exact thing as those that are really expensive. A cheap makeup does not always mean it will be bad. Contrary, there are people out there who prefer a cheaper alternative. 

In my opinion, I do not really reach for the prices of things. I reach for the coverage or the packaging if it is cute. I also go by recommendations and things that have been advertised a lot. There is always a risk in what products someone is buying though.

Entry #5; Mint

 I hope your day is well. Let’s play a guessing game. 

Have you ever needed what seems like a quick run to the restroom because your breath stunk? This tiny miniature medicine acts like a toothpaste to some and gum to others just after they have eaten nothing but onions. The first time it hits your taste buds it feels like a whirl and a slight breath you take can burn your eyes and make them as watery as a pond. The tingling sensation is what makes this remedy for bad breath controversial. 

My first interaction with this tiny capsule was when I was younger. Yes it has even existed way back since the 18th century, which means Beethoven probably had the same problem as you when you run to this miniature medicine. I overcame the strong but disgusting air freshener for my mouth. It was the only thing I could consume when I didn’t have gum next to me. The worst kind was the tin packaging with bright white and red borders, the lettering smuthered in ballpoint point black ink would catch my attention. The packaging always seemed fancy to me and the clink clink sound of the capsules all shaken together was a delight to my ears. 

Although it is a quick substitute for toothpaste, mouth wash, or anything close to that, I’m sure people who are germaphobic and who care about their hygiene a lot would love this. Or maybe they won’t, considering the nutrition facts on them or the vitamins that are not available. Have any idea what it is yet? See you next week.

Entry #4; why Fall is the best season

 Hello. Today I’m going to talk about why fall is the best season in my opinion. It is my favorite because many things change from family and observations of daily life. Out of all the four seasons, fall is my favorite and I think many readers can agree. 

Fall isn’t too hot or too cold but it is in the middle and enough to handle. The vibe that fall gives is cozy and just enough to get someone motivated. At least for me, I enjoy the feeling of fall because the scenery starts to change. Fall is the beginning of a new person, a new wardrobe, and a new mindset. I like when a season changes especially when it changes into fall. 

Fall brings out the jackets and slippers that I enjoy. It gives me an excuse to do some shopping for my closet because of the changing weather and plan out cute outfits of orange to brown and neutral colors. I can also buy candles as new scents come out to represent fall. 

It is also the start of different seasonal foods to start coming up. Seasonal fall and winter foods are my favorite. It brings variety and traditions back home. The seasonal foods remind me of how strong a culture can be. Bringing back native and Mexican traditions in my family it is always nice to be reminded of my family. For example, there are traditional dances that take place as well as warmer foods and drinks to enjoy amongst each other and have communion with one another.

ANALYSIS:  

    The speaker is someone who cares deeply about their significant other and wishes to stay with them for a long time. The speaker hopes their significant other has the same effort and often reassures them through the lyrics. This is the bands fourth single. The audience is the significant other, the person they are admiring, or listeners who are in a relationship. Often times, the lyrics are words that we as listeners would also want to hear. They are being reassured that they are loved which weakens overthinking. There might be some complications based upon not being able to be there but the singer promises to be by their side once they return. 

     Overall, the tone is reassurance and calm. It is calm because the singer would still like to pursue a relationship with their partner. However, first, the singer tries his best to make sure both of them feel the same because of what he will express in the rest of the song. It changes then to reassuring the partner once they are both on the same page about love. 

    The singer also uses the words "never be lost again" a repeated number of times to show that he will put in a high amount of effort into building the relationship. Once again, the singer tries his best to comfort his partner by using references and implying that his partner is equal to a home and his world. Not only does he make his partner feel good, he also shows that he will be there no matter the circumstance by essentially starting some lines with "I" and then claiming what he will do for the both of them.
